Minutes for June 1, 2006

Present: Julie Morris, Joyce Rose, Michelle Benson, Kathy Donohoe, Nancy

Skarmeas, Sally Turcotte, Eileen Reinacher, Bill Carozza, Mike Bessette

Motion made by Kathy Donohoe to approve May 2006 minutes. Seconded by Eileen

Reinacher.

Funding Requests:

Request from Destination Imagination for money to help pay for their trip to the

global finals in Knoxville TN. 6 children to attend. Motion made by Bill

Carozza for $100.00. Seconded by Eileen Reinacher.

Request from the 8th grade social studies program to pay for a Surviving Evil

program. This program highlights the life of holocaust survivors. Motion made

by Kathy Donohoe for $600.00. Seconded by Sally Turcotte.

Request for a library grant from HMHS to purchase books to support the robotics

team.

Motion made for $300 by Eileen Reinacher. Seconded by Sally Turcotte.

Request for $400.00 from HMS library media center to purchase a color photo

printer for teachers to use to print photos. Motion made by Kathy Donohoe for

$400.00. Seconded by Sally Turcotte.

A motion was made by Kathy Donohoe to donate $100.00 to the National Honor

Society and the HHS Lacrosse team due to their assistance with Fun Fair. The NHS Students also did the babysitting for each PTA meeting this past year.

Fun Fair:

Many Volunteers and donations made for a great day.
