May- Fun Fair

Starting in January we will start to plan out "Hopkintonopoly" to sell in the fall of ’06 in place of Cherrydale

9. What new programs would you like to see?

Principals will discuss with staff any new funding requests. Also, it was mentioned that HMHS has not used as much funding as the other 2 schools. This is due in part to other groups providing funding, but Steve will mention it to staff members.

Artist and Author in Residence Programs grant funding has started to dry up, so going forward, PTA may need to provide greater funding for these.

It was discussed that the PTA will hold a forum on the school calendar and how it could effectively be revised to assist staff members more. To be discussed further at next PTA meeting.

Also, discussion regarding more support from parents and community at the annual school district town meeting held in March. How can the PTA assist in getting the word out that more votes are needed? Also to be discussed at a PTA meeting, probably closer to March.

10. PTA will use own paper for copying going forward.
