WIND PATTERNS

If you look at the map on columbus' way back you can see that he slowed down at aproximatly 30 degrees North, that is because of the direction of the wind changing.If you look up on the image at the top you can see that the direction of the wind changes at about 60 N, that is why he started going north if you look back at the map when he starts his journey, he goes down that is because the wind is heading towards the west, which is the direction he is going. The wind is moving in a circle around the world.
