4. Location

 

    Hopkinton is located in Merrimack county in New Hampshire, right in between Henniker and concord, Concord, being to the east, Henniker, being to the west. The latitude of Hopkinton is 43 degrees, 13.746 minutes, and it is north of the equator. Longitude is 71 degrees, 13.212 minutes, and it is west. This was measured at the Hopkinton middle high school at the soccer field flag pole.

 

5. Place

 

    In Hopkinton some of the physical features we have are the lakes, rivers, and ponds. One of the lakes that we have is Kimball Lake, and a river is the Contoocook River, and a pond is Kimball pond. Hopkinton is a small town with a lot of swamps and forests. We have cultural things to like the Hopkinton town fair, where people go to compete, ride rides, and eat fair food.
