What I learned- At Environmental Camp I learned about water and the way
water is livable by insects. The reason insects live in water is due the
dissolved oxygen that the water picks up when it splashes and makes bubbles. I
also learned that polyester and other waterproof clothing are more suitable in
camping situations
than cotton. Cotton loses 80% of its insulation when it gets wet.
I also learned about contour lines and maps. Contour lines are lines on a map
that show the height of slopes and when they’re close together, it means the
slop is really steep but when they’re far apart, the slop isn’t that steep. In
our groups we were able to draw a mp with contour
lines, mine is on the top.

This is me writing in my sketch book.
