Columbus’s voyage to Asia (Caribbean)

Columbus was trying to find a route to Asia. On his voyage, he decided to go south to the Canary Islands. Columbus landed on the Canaries because it was a good place to get water, wood, and meat.The Canaries are home to wild dogs and canaries.
Where/What are the Antilles??? The Greater Antilles is a large group of islands that are located in the Caribbean region above South America. They are below Cuba and west of Jamaica. The Lesser Antilles are a smaller group of islands and they are located below Puerto Rico and are in a curved line shape.
