Jamaica is a somewhat large island in the caribbean region, it is made up of 80% highlands. Jamaica is mostly flat terrians, with rugged hills and mountains in the southeast. Also because it has a lot of natural resources and minerals. the average temperature is 80 degrees F. When it comes to its history Spain ruled this island until 1655 when the Brittish captured it. The shape of Jamaica looks almost as if it's ripped in half because there was a big earth quake there back in the 1600 when a large portion of the island sank.
