Tide Zones

2. Name and describe the 4 tidal zones at Odiorne Point. Mention what is found in each zone.

The Four tidal zones at Ordiorne point are, the Black zone, which is the first layer of rock, that gets the least wet. It is called the Black zone because the rocks are coverdin Cyanbacteria. the next layer down is, the white zone. It is called the white zone because the rocks are coverd in Barnicles (which are white). Then there's the Brown zone which is rocks coverd in Rockweed and Knotted Wrack. Then there's the red zone, which is rocks coverd in Irish Moss
