Montserrat

Montserrat is part of the the caribbean regoin. Montserrat is a fairly large island. Montserrat covers about 37.5 sq miles. It has many streams and waterfalls. The population is with mostly black Africans. Columbus discovered Montserrat in 1493. The island is filled with steep mountains and filled with beeches with black volcanic sand. It is also filled with deep valleys.The mountain was named by Columbus. It was named after the montserrat island. Montserrat is a high land because there is good soil.
