Anguilla was first settled by the English in 1650 (the English people came from St. Kitts.) In the 19th century, it was British. Anguilla's climate is fairly tropical, with some trade winds. It is a low island because it is made of coral and it is low. It is in the Lesser Antilles, east of Puerto Rico. On a map, it is 18 15 N, 63 10 W.
