Montserrat is a country island in the Lesser Antilles that has a volcanic origin. Right now, the volcano in Montserrat is continuously exploding. It is an island that Great Britain. The volcano is called Soufrière, and it is in the southern area of Montserrat.
History
In 1995, the volcano started to erupt endlessly, and eventually buried the capital of Montserrat in ashes and mud. Thousands of people ran away to different islands, and still to this day, not many people live there.
