Cardigan Mountain is located in Alexandria New Hampshire. Alexandria is located near Orange, Bristol, and Newfound Lake. The absolute location of the summit of Cardigan Mountain is 43º 38.998 minutes north, 71º 54.864 minutes west.

At the top of Cardigan Mountain was beautiful. There were so many things to look at, Newfound Lake, all the trees in the horizon. When you looked out into the distance where the trees were you could see the shadows that the clouds were putting over the trees. The temperature on top of mount Cardigan was really nice. It wasn’t to cold and it wasn’t to hot. Actually it wasn’t hot at all.

Some of the things that you saw when you were walking the trails were trees, rocks, boulders, bugs and so, so much more. One of the things that I liked when we were walking was all the bridges that we went over. It was interesting because you got to see all of the water and stuff in the water. It was really cool.

Something that I learned when I was at Environmental Camp was that when you go hiking, you always want to remember to wear stuff that is NOT cotton. The reason that you don’t want to wear cotton is because if it is raining and your cotton gets wet, you can get really sick.  So therefore COTTON KILLS.
