  1. Location – Hopkinton is in New Hampshire of the county of Merrimack.  It is southwest from the capitol, Concord.  It is approximately 10 miles away from Concord.  It is north from Weare and Dunbarton.

 

  1. Absolute location - The garden by the flag pole out in front of the school.  43 degrees north latitude and 13.841 minutes.  71 degrees west longitude and 43.120 minutes.

 

  1. Place – Some physical characteristics for Hopkinton is you have the Contoocook River and some cover bridges.  We have all 4 seasons and in the winter you need to wear some warm clothing to stay warm.  In the summer you need to wear cool clothing.  We have a wonderful fall like the leaves.  Some trees that we have are our

 

  1. Human/Environment Interaction – People change the environment by cutting down wood and building houses with that wood.  How the environment changes humans is the weather for sports of practices or games for sports. Water or rain for our grass to stay green so it doesn’t look that bad.

 

  1. Regions – A region that Hopkinton is a part of is New Hampshire. Some more areas or a region that Hopkinton is a part of is the Merrimack county that is also in New Hampshire.  Bigger regions that Hopkinton is a part of are New England and the USA and the north part of the equator.
