7^th grade homework

Assigned on November 2 2011

Can you please check your homes for Assignment Books? We started the year with 20 extras to use as spares/loaners and we are totally out of them. 20 extras have been given out. Please look for them!!!!!

Pre-Algebra- check the x2 portal. We have adding integers. If its not done. Jinx.

Regular 7 Math- check the x2 portal. Histogram sheet. Due tomorrow.

English.... Need a bookmark./litlog. Bring this every day..

Bring to class... always... binders, dividers notebook paper and something to write with (pencil or pen (blue or black ink)).

2-4 personal dictionary entries.. PDE. Which is a TLA. Due different days depending.

“Don't be down in the dumps” packet. Due different days, depending.

60 minute thing- do a question from memoir. And you just write things that it reminds you of. That 60 mninute thing is not just for one night. Due Monday.

Geography-

Read page 329- “Reading a Population Map”. Do the 3 questions on that page. Question number 3 on that page has 2 parts. The first part is easy to answer. The second part... not so much. But take a shot at it.

And... do the “Applying Map Skills” questions on page 337.

That's actually 5 questions tonight. They should be done on the same sheet of paper as the previous 6 questions- which actually makes 11 questions total.

On Thursday (tomorrow) you will turn in those 11 answers (with your name at the top of the paper) for a quiz grade.

IF still if not done... Assigned on Monday... due on Tuesday... Read pages 336-340 in textbook. About Greece (and the Mediterranean Region). Then... turn back to page 338 and do the Applying Map Skills questions- 2 of them. Write a complete sentence answer that incorporates the answer. OR... write out the complete question and then do a 1-word answer.

And, if still not done... assigned on Tuesday, due on Wednesday- Applying Map Skills questions on page 324 and 325. 4 questions. Put the answers on the SAME sheet of paper as the answers for Applying Map Skills Questions from page 338. (You should have 6 done to show in Wednesday's class.

By the way, in class, we were working on a “Using GoogleEarth Effectively” mini-project, which will also serve as a bridge to the next unit (Views of the World). Here is the Rubric which will be used to evaluate the classroom-project.

Science- Check portal. Plant book if still not done. Crossword. If not done.

French avec Mme Cotnoir- Check the X2 portal. Study french. Speak french. Study food.

French avec Mme Harb- Check the x2 portal. Identify food on a sheet. And use page 45 in the textbook. And be awesome.

German- Check the x2 portal. Study. 15 minutes. Use quizlet and sign up, and be more epicer than whatever Matt said. If you have to re-do parts of the test, study to re-take.

Spanish- Check the x2 portal. Study spanish.
