- How our tweens/teens use media and how it influences their behavior and choices?
- What can you do to guide your tweens/teen to use media responsibly, with self-respect and respect for others?
- How we can make our tweens/teens smart about media and more capable of making healthy, safe choices leading to their success?

The Hopkinton PTA has adopted and pursues the following mission:
To support and speak on behalf of children and youth in schools, to assist parents in developing the skills they need to raise and protect their children, and to encourage parent and public involvement in schools.
What do we do?
Each year the PTA raises and distributes funds to support programs that enrich the school experience for children in our community. Unlike many PTAs in other districts, the Hopkinton PTA addresses and supports all grades in its district, from Kindergarten through 12th Grade.
Last year, over $4,000 was distributed to a variety of programs including:
- Destination Imagination
- Book fairs
- Enrichment programs
- Candidate Night
- Project Graduation
- Honors and awards nights
- Scholarships
- Teacher Appreciation Day
- Artist and Author-in-Residence
In addition the PTA organized such events as:
- Annual Fun Fair
- Halloween Parade and Social
- Bike and ski helmet sales with significantly reduced prices
- The Clay Works workshop
- Family night & movie events
- Back-to-School class parties held for Harold Martin students
- Parenting Seminars
The PTA also donated approximately $2,000 that helped defray the cost of field trips district wide.
Who are we?
All members of the community are invited and encouraged to join our organization and to attend the PTA meetings.
When and where do we meet?
Meetings are held at 6:30 p.m. on the first Thursday of each month at Harold Martin School in the Preschool Room.
Come join us…we look forward to hearing all your suggestions and ideas.
