Updated Traffic Flow at the Middle High School moves to Improve Student Safety
This year we have taken steps to improve student safety at the end of the day. We have redirected traffic away from the Park Avenue exit, to all but a few cars and busses from 2:45 to 3:15. Thus allowing our students to cross the streets, use the skate park, and load the busses in a safer and less busy environment. All other drivers are asked to enter the school grounds through the Park Avenue entrance, where they can pick up students, and exit through Kearsarge Avenue. This format was brought up last year at our Parent Action Committee (PAC) meetings, and was discussed with teachers, administrators, Safe Routes to School Committee, and the Hopkinton Police Department. Thank you all for your understanding and cooperation.
