      Recommend the Hopkinton School Board approve manifests.

 

B.     PERSONNEL

 

1.        Recommend the Hopkinton School Board approve a Maternity Leave for Kathleen LaClair, Hopkinton Middle/High School from March 26, 2008 to the first day of the 2008-2009 school year.           

2.        Recommend the Hopkinton School Board approve the Superintendent’s nomination of Scott Semmens, Middle School Nordic Ski Coach for the 2007-2008 School Year.

3.        Recommend the Hopkinton School Board approve the Superintendent’s nomination of Dee Gilroy, Middle School Alpine Ski Coach, for the 2007-2008 school year.  

 

C.    2007-2008 TUITION RATES

 

     Recommend the Hopkinton School Board adopt the 2007-2008 Tuition Rates as follows:

 

Kindergarten                        $  6,820.50    

Elementary                           $13,641.00

Middle School                      $13,800.22

High School                         $13,714.66

          

D.    BUDGET ADJUSTMENT

 

Recommend the Hopkinton School Board approve Budget Adjustment No. 2008-13 in the amount of $5,267.27.  This transfers funds from regular education salary and benefits to special education salary and benefits.

 

E.     TRIPS      

 

1.      Recommend the Hopkinton School Board approve a trip to Tela/Trujillo, Honduras February 26, 2008 through March 10, 2008.

2.      Recommend the Hopkinton School Board approve a trip to Chatham Cape Cod for the Basketball Jamboree November 30, 2007 through December 2, 2007.

 

F.     TRANSPORTATION CONTRACT BID

 

Recommend the Hopkinton School Board award the five-year transportation contract bid to First Student beginning with the 2008-2009 school year.

 

G.    POLICIES

 

1.      Recommend the Hopkinton School Board adopt the Placement, Promotion and Retention of Students Policy.

2.      Recommend the Hopkinton School Board adopt the Evaluation of Instructional Programs Policy.

3.      Recommend the Hopkinton School Board adopt the Assessment Policy.

      4.   Recommend the Hopkinton School Board adopt the Change of School or Assignment Policy.

      5.   Recommend the Hopkinton School Board adopt the Student Conduct, Discipline and Due Process Policy.  

    6.   Recommend the Hopkinton School Board adopt the First Aid and Emergency Medical Care Policy.
