Parent/Teacher Association

The Hopkinton PTA is unique among PTAs in that it works on behalf of students in grades K-12.  As a result, the PTA offers support to a wide range of programs at all three schools.  A membership drive in September and a single fund-raiser during the year raise the money required to fund these educational enhancements that the school budget does not cover.  These programs include Artist-In-Residence, Author in the School, Project Graduation, field trips, and many more.
The PTA also acts as a conduit between school and the parents and community.  In some cases this means matching parents to specific volunteer positions.  On other occasions programs are offered to educate parents on topics such as reading, child safety, and candidates running for local office.
The Hopkinton PTA always has room for help and new ideas.  Meetings are held monthly on the first Thursday of each month at the Harold Martin School.  Membership forms and information about meetings will be sent home during the first week of school.  PTA membership is a great way to support our schools and become involved in your child's school experience.  For more information, please call Kathy Donohoe at 746-3502.
