The Community Hopkinton, New Hampshire
is a picturesque, small town located in the south central region of the state
along the Contoocook River directly west of Concord, the state capital.
The town of approximately 5000 residents is comprised of two villages, Hopkinton
and Contoocook, and a sparsely populated outlying area called West Hopkinton.
The area is easily accessible to the mountains, to the ocean and lakes, and
to the city of Boston. Education and culture are highly valued by Hopkinton
families. Approximately 85% of the parents of Hopkinton students have
had at least some post secondary schooling. Parents are actively involved
in a variety of support and volunteer roles throughout the schools.
Hopkinton is characterized by a strong sense of community and caring that
extends beyond the schools and by its pride in, and support for, the schools.
Directions to the SAU Office From the North: Take Route 89 South to exit 6. At the bottom of the exit ramp, take a left. Go straight until you see the school crossing sign (approximately 1 mile). Take a left into the Maple Street School parking lot. The SAU office is the white building to the left of the school. The entrance to the SAU office is located at the back of the building. Take Route 89 North to exit 6. At the bottom of the exit ramp, take a right. Go straight until you see the school crossing sign (approximately 1 mile).
