CALL TO ORDER AND PLEDGE OF ALLEGIANCE
Mr. Luneau called the meeting to order at 5:21pm; Mr. Josephson led the Pledge of Allegiance.

CORRESPONDENCE
Mr. Chamberlin handed out copies of the agenda, public hearing posting, and Cecilia Creamer and Brian Desmarais’s employment applications.

COMMENTS FROM THE HOPKINTON SCHOOL BOARD
Ms. Durant thanked everyone for the flowers and their support during the recent loss of her mother.
ITEMS FOR BOARD DISCUSSION
- a. Hopkinton School District Purchase of a Handicap Accessible/Special Education School Bus
This item was discussed during tonight’s public hearing.
b. Hiring
Mr. Chamberlin stated that he received a written request from Gordon Hedderig, high school custodian, to reduce his contract from 1.0 to 0.5.
Mr. Chamberlin stated that he is nominating Brian Desmarais as the full time custodian at Harold Martin School and Cecilia Creamer as the 0.4 middle school Spanish teacher, for both grades 7 and 8.

ACTION ITEMS
- The Hopkinton School Board approve the Superintendent’s recommendation to withdraw not more than $29,000 from the Replacing School District Vehicles Capital Reserve Fund to purchase a handicap accessible/special education school bus.
A motion was made by Mr. Jones, seconded by Mr. Josephson, motion carries, all in favor, not opposed.
- The Hopkinton School Board approve the Superintendent’s recommendation to grant Hopkinton Middle High School custodian Gordon Hedderig’s request to reduce his 1.0 contract to 0.5, 2011-2012 school year.
A motion was made by Mr. Jones, seconded by Mr. Josephson, motion carries, all in favor, not opposed.
- The Hopkinton School Board approve the Superintendent’s nomination of Brian Desmarais, Harold Martin School Custodian, 2011-2012 school year.
A motion was made by Mr. Jones, seconded by Mr. Josephson, motion carries, all in favor, not opposed.
10. The Hopkinton School Board approve the Superintendent’s nomination of Cecilia Creamer, 0.4 Spanish Teacher, Hopkinton Middle School, 2011-2012 school year.
A motion was made by Mr. Jones, seconded by Mr. Josephson, motion carries, all in favor, not opposed.
11. The Hopkinton School Board approve the superintendents recommendation to accept the bid from O’Connor Bus Sales for the purchase of a handicap accessible/special education school bus. $21,000 from ARRA funds, and not more than $29,000 from the Replacing School District Vehicle Capital Reserve Fund.)
A motion was made by Mr. Jones, seconded by Mr. Josephson, motion carries, all in favor, not opposed.
12. Adjournment
At 5:30pm a motion was made by Mr. Jones, seconded by Mr. Josephson to adjourn the meeting, motion passed, all in favor, not opposed.
