Curriculum & Assessment ● The School Board, working through the Superintendent, will support the ongoing development of Curriculum and Assessment work, including through potential budget apportionment, grade and building level leadership, focused intervention, and ongoing committee level work. ● The School Board, working through the Superintendent, will continue to support the development of the District’s Tier 1, Tier 2, and Tier 3 levels of support and make recommendations on future systems and needs for materials and professional development. ● The School Board, working through the Superintendent, will assess the role of screen-based technology in general curriculum facilitation and deliver a report to the Board by June 1, 2027. Finance ● The School Board, working through the Superintendent, will continue to support stabilization of the year-over-year tax rate and explore additional mechanisms for doing so. ● The School Board, working through the Finance Committee, will analyze trust options with a report to the full Board by January 15, 2027. ● The School Board, working through the Finance Committee, will analyze transportation options and related costs for extracurricular and career exploration activities, with a report to the full Board by January 15, 2027. Safety & Security ● The School Board, working through the Safety and Security Committee, will support the integration and support of students’ durable skills, development, and intervention. Communication ● The School Board, working through the Superintendent, will take steps to understand, develop, and support the changing and varied needs of Hopkinton families across the District. (Strategic Plan: Culture & Climate - Goal 3, Objectives 1 and 2) Culture & Climate ● The School Board, working through the Superintendent, will proactively continue to address and support student inclusivity across developmental ages and stages. (Culture and Climate - Goal 1, Objective 1) Sustainability ● The School Board, working through the Energy Management Committee, will take steps to implement the district’s Sustainability Policy, particularly related to curriculum, instruction, and purchasing.
