The Small Business class presented our school with a check in the amount of 639.55 for our student support fund. This money was a result of a partnership with Marklin Candles and the students’ real-world business initiative. The class, led by Kate Backman, worked with Mr. and Mrs. Marklin to design, create, market, and sell candles whereby a portion of the profits went to support students in our community. This was an excellent educational opportunity that fostered a great community connection and real world experiences. It could not have been done without the strong efforts of Mr. and Mrs. Marklin and Ms. Backman.

On January 14 Mrs. Sintro's classes hosted a group from the Burundian Association of New Hampshire. They came and entertained us, enlightened us, and educated us.
